Peak Oil is a family run business, which was established 48 years ago servicing customers across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire. We now have a national network and we pride ourselves with the service levels that we are able to provide our customers, which are unrivalled in our industry.
As a result of our size and our 24/7 365 nationwide service, we can be flexible and responsive, saving businesses considerable costs that can be incurred when fuel has not been delivered on time or at all.
As a business, we are aware of the impact that the fuel industry has on global warming and we are always looking to reduce our carbon footprint and find ways in which we can help other businesses achieve their targets too.
We expect demand for greener fuels to increase as businesses become more environmentally conscious and we need to be able to cater to that demand. Peak Oil has a role to play in reducing emissions from transport, homes, farming and industry around our region and we have been looking at low carbon opportunities within our industry. We believe that renewable sources are part of the solution to the current climate crisis in order to work towards the Government’s target to achieve net zero greenhouse gas by 2050.
Peak Oil plans to offer HVO as a way to accelerate the update of low emission taxis, buses and other public service vehicles, as well as private consumers, around our region. It provides a low carbon opportunity without requiring the aforementioned to make any additional investments or modifications to their fleet.
